Patrick is a founding board member of Spectrum Society and a Montreal-based writer and historian. He is the author of numerous articles on the history of
ideas of cognitive or intellectual disability, learning difficulties,
autism, idiocy, folly, and related concepts. He is also a freelance writer specializing in arts, culture, travel, science and technology..
